Thanksgiving Dinner

My boyfriend and I will be traveling to Sedona this Thanksgiving. Right now, I have two reservations. One is at Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante and the other is at Storytellers at the Cliff Castle Casino. So, I was wondering which restaurant has better food and / or atmosphere?

Thank you!

Kristin

I think they both have very good food. I would have to vote for Dahl and DiLuca for atmosphere. It is located in a nice quiet area of the Village of Oak Creek. The atmosphere inside the Storytellers restaurant is very nice and the food is very good, but you have to walk through the noise of the casino to get there. It's tucked away in the far right hand side of the casino. If that doesn't bother you, then I would think it's a coin toss. Cliff Castle has some of the nicest casino restaurants. I don't think you would go wrong at either place.

I would like to visit Sedona on Thanksgiving day and I would like to fined nice place to have Thanksgiving meal with my daughter. I will prefer a buffet and not very expensive. Any suggestions?

The Village of Oak Creek Golf course has opened a new restaurant called Redstone. For Thanksgiving they are offering three different entrees rather than a buffet, but would qualify based on your price. They just opened this month, and I have not been there yet. This is probably their first holiday event. Their website has not posted the Thanksgiving menu, but you can email VOCA at info@vocaonline.com or call them at (928)284-1820 for details.

Redstone Patio had their soft opening on Nov 15th. Those of us who are members of the Oakcreek CC have been anxiously awaiting the new operation. I ate there several times this week. So far all of the food and all of the feedback from my friends is positive.

I'm hesitating to post a review until they get through the opening jitters, and can't until TA adds them to the list of Sedona eateries. So far the biggest challenge has been lack of seating for the high demand. They have yet to finish the main dining room renovation.

I expect that the Thanksgiving fare will be very good, but reservations are a MUST.

Dahl and d'Luca is NOT in the Village, it's in West Sedona about 7miles away north on Hwy 179 and then south on 89A, you are probably confusing this with Cucina Rustica...

Sound Bites Grill has a complete meal for $35, half price for kids. New restaurant but the food has been great so far !!! Probably should make a reservation as the views from there are spectacular !
