Camping in Sedona?

Hi there...

We have some friends who like to camp... the whole tent/campfire/smores thing etc. It's been a while since I've been camping, and when I did, I was surprised how much I really enjoyed it!

Anyway, can anyone recommend a nice campsite either in Sedona itself or in Oak Creek that is not too far out in the boonies? I perfer a few people around.

Thanks!

Sheri

There are good National Forest campgrounds in Oak Creek Canyon. I suggest your friends look at this website:

I assume that you drove up (or down) Oak Creek Canyon on your trip. These campgrounds are tucked in between the road and the creek at various spots between Sedona and Flagstaff.
