Any are restaurants open on Thanksgiving? Not a resort?

I checked local newspapers online version, but restaurant ads for Thanksgiving are not available. I'm aware that the resorts (maybe casinos?) will be open but was wondering what other options we have?

Out of a list of 12 restaurants I had only these two will be opened and would require reservations.

Scottsdale

Remington’s Restaurant , 480-951-5101

Paradise Valley Mall area

Marie Callender’s, 602-996-0622

There are others in the Phoenix metro area, but I’ve only looked at the short list I had.

Ads for Thanksgiving meals in restaurants usually come out 1-3 weeks in advance. I live in Tucson, and we have many restaurants open on Thanksgiving, so I am sure the Phoenix/Scottsdale area has many. There are various restaurant guides online for Phoenix. I recommend doing some research and calling a few to see if they are open. Unless someone from the area can post and tell you about specific restaurants which they know are open. It is easy to get around Phoenix, and there are over 2000 restaurants listed in one guide!

One restaurant chain which I see from their web site has Thanksgiving dinner is Mimi's Cafe, which is also called French Quarter in some cities. I have never been disappointed in their food. There are 2 locations near Scottsdale; reservations are required for Thanksgiving.

Thanks so much for all your help! My sisters (coming from Boston) and I (coming from LA) were worried about where to go for Thanksgiving, but now we have many options to choose from. Trip Advisor and all the Forum participants are wonderful.

Our family has enjoyed Thanksgiving many times at the local resorts, like the Scottsdale Princess, Phoenician, etc. But the resorts' prices are now outta' sight and we have patronized Mimi's Cafe for holiday meals in the past few years.

You might check for a Mimi's near your accommodations. As I recall, they will only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more. Otherwise you have to just arrive and hope for a short wait.

We ate at Stuart Anderson's Black Angus tonight on Mayo Blvd. in Scottsdale and they are offering a Thanksgiving Buffet for $13.99/person and $6.99 (i think) for kids.

Consider your Turkey feast at one of the local Mimi's Cafes around the Phoenix area. I had my Thanksgiving meal there 2 years ago and it was truly outstanding and and at a very moderate price (under $15). Dessert is/ was included and you will leave with a full stomach. This a ton better than a Denny's with good service included. Not a resort meal, but you won't have to break the bank at this place!
