My daughter (24) and I will be in Scottsdale in early May. We will be arriving there in the evening (May 6) after driving from the Grand Canyon. We have all of the following day (May 7) for sightseeing, and will fly home from Phoenix the next day (May 8) at 1:20 PM.
Ideally, we would love to tour Taliesin West and the Desert Botanical Gardens and visit the McDowell Sonoran preserve for a hike. That sounds like a lot to do in one day, but if anyone has ideas on whether or not it's possible and, if so, what order to do it in, I would appreciate your thoughts. If that's too much, what should we cut out?
Thinking about the Motel 6 on Camelback. Good location? Other suggestions that aren't too expensive?
Thanks for any help!
