Steeped in both history and rarity, the key lot in this year’s auction will be the Simon Bolivar saddle. Created for this famous military and political leader who played a key role in Hispanic America’s successful struggle for independence from the Spanish empire. The Bolivar saddle was made in the city of Positi, Bolivia, one of South America’s largest silver mining cities. The Simon Bolivar Al Liberatador saddle is estimated to sell for $50,000 to $100,000.
