We are travelling to Savaii on the 8th August 2009. Does anyone know of ideas or what to do over there.

A snorkelling trip with Dive Savaii out onto the coral gardens. 60tala for adults and 30 tala for kids, most amazing coral and fish. 3 dive locations, the last two are the best.

Just relax, enjoy the charming people there, visit Taga Blowholes, enjoy the market close to the wharf ( especially the rooms upstairs).

Enjoy the fact that the roads are GREAT, only potholes we found were close to Manase area, got to the Lava fields

Snorkelling on Savaii was way better, in our opinion than on Upolo, the reef is not so far away. Turtles are found in most plaes around Savaii.

Visit Peapea lava Tube... really interesting.

Go to the waterfalls that fall directly into the ocean, a wee way further on from the blowholes.

Go to the place which is the last place in the world to have the sun set on it each day, and marvel at the sunsets- this is not far away from Vaisala.

Thank you for the information. We will be staying at Lelagato resort. Are the turtle feeding close to our resort and also the blowholes, thanks readers.
