Honeymoon in Bariloche

Hi,

We're planning our honeymoon trip to Bariloche in next January. What's the best choice to stay? We're thinking about Villa Huinid or Design Suites, but we accept new suggests. Thank you!!!

Best regards,

Eliane and Leonardo.

marteen:

pls. tell me what meat cut/ s is/ are of your preference, same regarding Italian food ...and will suggest my top/s for it...

I would start as a first choice La Brigada over Peña St. and Av Pueyrredon ( my very personalchoice , I know my waitter ( Jose) ..he knows my preferences.. ...you know ...)

Think that there are many very good if not TOP restaurants , in Recoleta a Pasta restaurant I do enjoy alot is Piegari ( expensive) and Malfatto ( reasonable) in Recoleta Barrio Norte

Have you checked saltshakers web ? imo you should ...

Santi, here in the states I prefer a New york ( which has a more flavor I think) also cannot disagree w/ a fillet, I take them med rare plus in the sates. I figure I will be on vacation for 3 weeks and will sample all the cuts Argentina has to offer, perhaps 2 or 3 times. Piegre, there are 2 of those restaurants, no? Have read good things about it, I will have to carbo load there, what is best dish there?

There are many places where fillet ( Lomo) is top quaility as Lomo is 99,9 % tender but without much tsate ( lacks a bit of personality , so cheffs do some " work out" serving ot with a sauce and/or side dish ..

As for Tira de asado ( short ribs) ..it gets a bit more complicated ...if there´s a choice for Tira de asado ESPECIAL , always go for it as the difference regarding taste and tenderness is important. La Brigada ( 2 spots) has ALWAYS a excellent Tira. Same as a Top Ojo de Bife and other cuts...Not to say its the only place but´s the one I do prefer as its walking disntace from my flat.

Piegari over 9 de Julio Av. is TOP ( thou noisy when full) for Pastas ( any kind) and seafood, same as Oviedo at one corner of the German Hospital at Beruti St. ( for seafood). Portions are usually to share ...ask for one eat two. Wine proposal is very good at both ..maybe better in OVIEDO
