Hi yall, We are visiting some relations in August 08 and hoping to find a nice villa in Mesa. Whilst all the villas have pools and A/C the question is "will we stand the heat?" We are coming over from England and not sure if it may be too hot.

1. Re: weather

Since no one has answered, I'll give it a go---southern AZ has two seasons--"hot and hotter". When you will be there, it will be the latter. You will be able to stand the heat if you take some precautions--no long walks in the blazing sun, keep well-hydrated (since it's a dry heat, you'll be surprised at how thirsty you'll get). If you have to take a long walk during the day, use plenty of sunscreen. Everyone points out that it's "dry heat" but still, IMO, it doesn't make it easier! Enjoy your stay!
