Iguazu Falls

We will be in Buenos Aires in January and plan to make the trip to Iguazu Falls. We'll have three days there. We understand that there are many options for sightseeing and we are particularly interested to hear from others about the value of seeing the falls from both the Argentine and the Brazil side. We have been told, and have seen photos, that seem to indicate that the falls are uniquely different from each side. We are also considering the boat ride under the falls and are interested to hear what others think about this opportunity.

Thanks for sharing your opinions.

Hola Janet!

Great to know you are coming to our country!

Definitively Brazil and Argentina sides are very different. Guides love to say that while on the Brazil side you appreciate them on the Argentinean side you live them.

Also, the boat trip is an exciting experience- but remember- you will get wet 100%. But that is part of the fun.

I would highly recommend it.

I hope it helps!

Have a great trip!

Yes, definitely see the falls from both sides. On the Brazilian side go to the bird park across the street from the entrance to the falls. Well worth it

Both sides of the falls are very different and I'd recommend doing both.

The Brazilian side gives you a panoramic view of the falls.

The Argentinean side does not have a panoramic view but has more walks which enable you to get very close to the tops and bottoms of some of the smaller falls
