Yalikavak v Dalyan

Been to Dalyan for the past couple of years and now looking for a change but still quiet and relaxed holiday. Bit confused with some of the postings so can you help me out please. Does Yalikavak have a beach -stony or sandy? How big is the beach if it has one?

Is there much to do or see in the area If looking for days out - recommendations? Anyone been to the Windmills Gate apartments - any thoughts on quality or proximity to town? How good are the supermarkets/shops in town

Thanks

The nice thing about Yalikavak is that if you stay there, you have got the whole of the Bodrum peninsula to explore -and you can do this easily using the dolmus system. There's Bodrum of course with its castle, museum of underwater archaeology, shops galore and good restaurants. There's also smaller and larger resorts on the peninsula which are good to visit.

Yalikavak would give you the quiet and relaxing holiday you are looking for - with the chance to do some exploring, visit some good restaurants and generally have a good time.
