Riu Kaya Palazzo and Belek.

We are hopefully going to the Palazzo in August ( if Finished ) first time in Turkey, is the as i have read small town centre in walking distance , normally like to have a stroll in the evening after Dinner but looks like most people stay in the hotels, would this be correct, or is there anywhere to walk in the evening.

Are you allowed to walk into other hotels to have a look around, normally we do this to see if we like any other hotels in the area better than ours if we came back to the area.

Does anyone now if they do any trips to Fethiye for a day from Belek as a work mate said he loved it there and would like to have a look.

Thank you for any info about Belek and Turkey.

Fethiye is nearly 4 hours by car from belek .....so not really a day trip. It is completely different in the fethiye area, lots of self catering and B&B's and a handful of AI. There is a large english community in the Fethiye area and close by the beautiful olu deniz. We went there for nearly 18 years before trying Lara beach, and then Belek. The AI in these places is far superior to anything we had experienced before, including cruising, which was our favourite before we discovered Belek hotels. We rarely go ouside of the complex, the grounds are large and very pleasant to stroll round. Have a great holiday.

It is possible to look round other hotels but usually it is by arrangement in advance. We had a look round the Maxx Royal as part of a small group arranged by our hotel.
