Hello there anyone

Im travelling out to SA on Saturday. A few days on we will be staying in Knysna.

Any ideas please on how to spend a free afternoon/evening?

Many thanks

We were in South Africa a few months ago, and enjoyed the Garden Route. In my opinion, the best location is Tsitsikamma National Park (about an hour's drive east of Knysna).

In the Knysnsa Quay area, just over the pedestrian draw bridge and then to the left (at 34 Degrees Restaurant) you will find the Springtide Charter operation. They have a gorgeous 50 foot custom sailboat available for crewed outing. Its a beautiful way to see Knysna from the water and, if the tides are cooperating, head out the Heads into the Indian Ocean. They have day and evening trips and will even do an overnight with one couple.

It is excellent.

Feather Beds 4 hour trip on the ferry is an excellent way to spend a morning / afternoon. Have a ball in my home town.
