Toiletries at the Airport

Hi,

Just wondering how much say a mid-sized bottle 'Garnier' spray sun-cream lotion costs in Cape Town? I'm also looking for a Gilette Mac 3 razor. Any average prices on these? Can I buy both these iteas at the airport?

Thanks

You can have a look at Woolworths at the Airport, they should have what you are looking for. The shop is situated on the ground floor.

Prices in supermarkets and discount pharmacies (Woolies may be a bit more):

Sunscreen: between R100 and R200 depending largely on SPF. You need at least a 30 SPF. I don't know if you'll get Garnier but other brands (eg, Nivea) are just fine.

Razor: about R50.

None of these things are really expensive. Airport prices a little higher than supermarket prices..

Thanks for the replies. Sun cream seems to be universally expensive and disproportionately expensive in South Africa compared to what you pay for other things.

Just seen it was 88 degrees there in Johannesburg! That's hotter then usual isn't it for Spring?

Not sure exactly start 88 degrees converts to, but no it hasn't been unusually hot for October.
