My husband and I along with one other couple, are planning a trip to SA during the first two weeks of September. We'd like to incorporate a safari through Kruger, however, we are budget conscious and are not sure what we can afford. So far, it looks like we might do a 5 night deal from Joburg by automobile through Kruger, staying in rest camps quoted around $1100 per person - any more than that is getting up there for us. Does anyone know of alternatives for 5 or 6 day tours during that period? We'd love to stay in a nice lodge if we could, but animal sightings are definitely our priority.
Thanks for the help!
