Safe Quiet Stay for 1 Niight

My wife and I will be flying in from the States at the end of August and would like to stay at a quiet, safe hotel or Inn or B&B where we can just veg for the day and get accustomed to the time difference. We would like to be able to take a walk to stretch the legs, go to a park or some stores (not a mall) and perhaps have a nice simple meal close to or within the hotel. Our budget would be about R3000. Will be flying out in the morning to Victoria Falls

Thanks for the advice

A little way from the airport, but otherwise, this place meets all your requirements:

Leighwood Lodge, in Parktown North.

No nice stores or restaurants close to safari club, though it is close to the airport
