Why no on-board bag restriction in SA?

The general level of chaos on boarding an internal flight in South Africa is a chaos close to mayhem, unknown to most international travelers and seemingly ignored by cabin attendants . The average traveler will carry on as many as 3 bags and not be advised or stopped by the ground crew or cabin crew and then on-board force the luggage into the overhead lockers of at least 3 seats. This madness fostered by South African airlines and especially prevalent on low-fare airlines is very unplesant, very aggressive and could simply be managed.

Sure can do - the same level of chaos that makes SA rate as low on service is what keeps us from developing dynamically in the travel industry

I am the first to admit to having a whinge about our Australian nanny state, but when it comes to flying I appreciate order, safety and service as a matter of priority!!! SAA doesn't come highly rated I am afraid.
