Vermillion Cliffs

I will be traveling by here on the way from Grand Canyon South Rim to Bryce Canyon. Do I have to enter the park to see sights of the Verimillion Cliffs or will I get a scenic view from Rt. 89?

1. Re: Vermillion Cliffs

The southern route 89 through Arizona follows the foot of the Vermillion cliffs the whole way until it enters the Kaibab plateau. Beautiful views along the way.

Be sure to stop at Marble Canyon, the Navaho Bridges, Lee's Ferry, and Lonely Dell Ranch along the way. Also at Jacob Lake for a snack or meal, and Lafevre Overlook south of Fredonia for the best look at the Grand Staircase.
