Expensive transfer costs

We are trying to organise a trip to the iberotel coraya in march. We are flying into marsa alam from Manchester and is my understanding it is just 5 minutes away. However, the transfers quoted through travel agent websites are 90 - 100 pounds for 3 of us. Seems massively excessive. Has anyone got a better solution?

Why not contact hotel to arrange transfer, usually cheaper than doing it yourself.

I've had an email back from Stephen. He is quoting 40 euros return. Better but still a lot. Has anyone ever done it another way?

There isnt really many options its a transfer via your ta , independant transfer company or Hotel as to date there is still no offical taxi rank at the airport , some people have reported taking the chance and getting a gypsy cab when they get there if there are any.

I would suggest the hotel is a bit more than 5 mins more like 10-15 :-)

I once organised a pick up by a dive centre based at the hotel I was staying at. They did it for nothing but I did spend a fair amount of money diving with them.

I think 40 Euros is good. You won't have to wait for everybody to get on the bus and sort out luggage. I think Coraya is more than 5 mins away.
