Calm waters in June ?

Would like to book three corners fayrouz for my husbands 60 th next year in June .the sea and snorkelling will be the main part of our holiday so are the seas likely to be calm is there a particular month or is it just pot luck whether they are calm or not ? ?in would hate to book and then find out there's a red flag and the sea is out of bounds .. Is June a good month to go ?i know it will be very hot which we don't mind as long as we can swim and snorkel ..

Hi Wendy. Nothing wrong with Three Corners Fayrouz at all.

Nice hotel good food, and facilities.

Short ride away from Port Ghalib about 5 to 10 minutes and hotel runs free shuttle from 11am to around 11.30pm.

Ok Snorkelling and Weather.

Purely? Purely pot luck as you can not predict the wind.

Is it windy? Yes most days but cam not tell you when a Red Flag will appear.

With the Fayrouz it does have a very long Jetty and does have some tidal lagoons off the Jetty that have some good l8fe in them.

You will have to go to end of Jetty for deep water drop off but really does depend on wind that day for Red Flags etc.

It rarely drops below 22C in the Marsa Area even in Winter.

Will it be hot in June? Yes very anywhere between 37C and 42C as an average. If it was July would be 45C+

The wind does help to keep the heat down.

Wind is the worst in February and March.

I do not think you will see a Red Flag day though in June.

P.S I have seen your Private Message which I will answer a little later tonight.

I have a few other hotels so do not rush and book just yet.

At the other side of the bay there is the Sunrise hotel in Port Ghalib.

Their beach gets nearly never red flag and has easy access to the reef.
