My husband and I were there in September, and we found it to be a fairly quiet place in comparison with the six other Turkish towns/cities we stayed in. The area is beautiful and lush. We stayed at the Canada Hotel (I wrote a review of that hotel).

We have stayed in Cirali a few times, and will be back many more times. One of the many things that we love about it is that there aren't loads of English tourists, this is probably down to no tour companies/no package deals there, just independent travellers.

Cirali has a very relaxed feel to it, there aren't any loud bars or clubs. The only bars are Dione bar on the beach and Kaptans bar in the village and they have a very laid back feel to them. There is a main road that runs through the village and on it are a couple of small shops and some resaurants. If you look at Cirali on Google Earth there are some photos which will give you an idea of what it is like. A lot of people have said that it is like many Turkish resorts were 20+ years ago before they were overdeveloped.

Check out

http://www.cirali.org/en/

This site gives a good idea of Cirali and the area plus a reasonable guide to accommodation there. Most being small(ish) family owned places.
