Sapa tours

My husband and I would like to do 'the market' tour (4 nights) with SapaDiscoveryTour, from Hanoi. Would love to hear some comments regarding this travel operator and the actual tour.

Thanks

Hello Julie900

With 4 night and 3 days included Bac Ha and Sapa.

I would like to suggest you as below:

Day 1: Take overnight train from Hanoi - Lao Cai on saturday evening

Day 2: Arrive Lao Cai early morning, get transfer 70km to Bac Ha visit Market for few hours then will go visit some village near by after the village drive about 120km to Sapa, stay hotel in Sapa

Day 3: After breakfast meet the local tour guide do trekking to Lao Chai - Ta Van -homestay

Day 4: Ta Van -Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa - Lao Cai take overnight train back to Hanoi

Day 5: Arrive Hanoi 4:45am - 6:00am

Tour ends.

I recommend you should book everything in advance because is weekend.

Thank you very much for your advice Zu's H'mong girl from Sapa. I think you are right about booking in advance. Have you heard of the tour operator 'Sapa Discovery tours'? Or, can you recommend a good one?

Thanks.

Julie, Giang_Zu is a travel agent just itching to attract your business, which is against the Trip Advisor rules. Her company has no track record on Trip Advisor, but what she suggests is fairly standard.

On the following page, click on the 'Activities' tab and you will find reviews of a number of agents:

Moreover a search using the forum search box will bring up reports and recommendations by other travellers.

In order to organize the tours around in Sapa and market tour, you can fix it out upon arrival in Sapa is better because you can get more advice from your hotel or agents.

Specielly, you can ask for where to go and where is the best places to visit.
