Where to go and what to do in Bali!?

Super excited about flying off to Bali in 2 weeks!! :)

We have our first week sorted - literally will be spent in Canggu surfing. BUT we have an extra week with no plans, not even any accomodation so we wanted to get some recommendations!

As the Canggu beaches arent meant to be the most beautiful we would like to find somewhere with more 'postcard' style beaches, a real paradise, maybe even a bit of snorkelling! There are the obvious spots, but would quite like to kind somewhere a bit special away from the high rise hotels and hectic nightlife!

Any suggestions as to how to spend out second week would be amazing!

You sound excited. And you just can't hide it.

I would look at Nusa Lembongan or the Gili Islands, both boat rides from Bali. You don't get the cultural aspects, or indeed the shopping in these places, but you get the tropical island thing (without the Bounty bar).

At the moment we are planning on no more than £30 a night accomodation ideally but have no idea how expensive it is going to be

I agree with HNB! Try lembongan or even head north to Amed. Good for snorkeling but not your white sandy beaches.

A day trip to Finns beach club is a good day out. They have snorkeling gear and paddle boards for you to use.
