Well, why are you in Juneau in the first place. I would consider a package tour to Glacier Bay

Juneau is a great spot for whale watching. If your budget allows, there's also the helicopter ride up to the glaciers.

Here's a great resource for information: http://www.traveljuneau.com/index.php

There are A TON of different things to do. Like what was said already, it just depends on what kinds of things you like to do!

If you are the outdoorsy adventurous type, there's whale watching, hiking, fishing, zip lining, jeep tours, helicopter riding, etc. Mendenhall Glacier is definitely a must see, considering you can't see it anywhere else! There are a lot of companies that bundle some of these things.

If you are the sight seeing/ foodie type, there are a ton of restaurants, shopping, and historical sights around town. Not to mention the very well known Alaskan Brewing Co if that's your kind of thing. Juneau Food Tours is great, and will give you a tour of some of the best restaurants in town.

There is so much to do and see, I think balancing both sides, is perfect. A little adventure, followed by a little sightseeing makes for a perfect stop in Juneau!

Good luck!
