Dog Sled or Pilot's Choice in Juneau

We will be in Alaska in mid May on a Celebrity Cruise. We are adventurous and travel extensively, but have only done a few cruises. Please help us get the most out of our Alaska experience.

Our primary dilemma is about the Helicopter Glacier Flight. We are torn between the "Pilot's Choice Glacier Exploration"

and the "Glacier Dogsled Adventure via Helicopter" (http://www.flightseeingtours.com/dogsled.asp).

If you had to pick one, which would you choose?

We would do both if I could figure out a way to fit them in. I already contacted TEMSCO, and they donât start their dog sledding until the day after we leave Juneau. Any other ideas?

I personally would do the dogsled trip. If visibility is poor, at least there's an experience to be had! On my last cruise to Alaska with Princess, I did the glacier hiking and it was fantastic (it was my one big-ticket excursion. I'm returning again in September via Celebrity and will be doing the dogsled trip... but want to do the one in the snow, not on the trainers on the dirt roads. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong with either one, but I always think the excursions associated with "doing" something always seem to create the best memories (and photos!) Good luck and have fun...I know I will!
