TourSaver and Whale Watching in Juneau and B&B info needed

We just received our Toursaver book (We should use enough coupons to recoup the cost)!

Anyway, the only whale watching tour listed is "Alaska Whale Watching," and a coupon for $129. I know that Harv and Marv is the preferred tour for whale watching, but using the coupon would be a tremendous saving.

Do all the whale watching tours essentially travel the same route?

I would appreciate feedback if you used the whale watching tour listed in TourSaver.

We're feeling overwhelmed, but feel we must start reserving places and activities.

Aslo, we're staying in Juneau for three nights and think we want to stay at Alaska Capital Inn. Are they open this time of year? I left a message on their phone yesterday, and didn't receive a call back.

Case: I did not post a review of the Wolf Lodge, no specific reason, guess it's something I should do.

We did enjoy our time there, we had the biggest space in the place, so that was nice. We were even able to look at our daily photos on the TV in our living room.

I did tell Jeff that I got the suggestion for his place from TA and I'm pretty sure you were the one who suggested it. He did say that he knew you pretty well. He's an interesting character and a good cook. Loved the blueberry pancakes and reindeer sausage.

I'll try to write a review over the weekend. We would go back again.

First, welcome to TripAdvisor! That's one heck of a first post!

I don't normally respond to personal attacks, especially when they come from such a new and anonymous source. I still won't respond directly, except to point out that if a business operator don't like something posted by a former client, there are several tools available here at TA which allow a business owner to post a rebuttal. Doing business in the forums, however, is usually frowned upon.

The fact is, I have "used the whale watching tour listed in TourSaver" - and above is my opinion and a brief summary of my experience. I assume the administrators will begin pulling posts now that this thread is beginning to violate the posting guidelines.

Happy Alaska Travels everyone!
