Taxi fares in Rarotonga

Wondering how much it costs for a taxi from the airport to a house approx 7 kms away. We are a group of 7, arriving late at night, so want to know which is the cheapest/best option.

If you know where you are going, your cheapest option would be to have a rental van waiting for you at the airport. Pile in and drive your party to the house. You can pick up your proper license the next morning in town.

Have you asked the people you've rented from if they can arrange transfers for you, most rental places will book out taxi's to transport their guests.

Alternatively you can check with Raro Tours for a group rate. http://www.rarotours.co.ck

MsVancouver is right...if you have a group then a hire van at the airport for your arrival is definitely an ideal and economical option.

For the price of 7 one-way transfers you can get a wagon and have it for a couple of days, get oriented (if you have not been to Raro), check out where to go and what to do and get stocked up etc...

You do get a temporary drivers license when you pick the car up at the airport which is good for 24hours for one driver. Talk to the car rental company about what you should do for the second day.

I am sure the person you booked your accommodation with will help with getting you to the property by whatever means you would like.
