Two-month Car Rental

We need to rent a sedan for a two-month visit. Anyone have a recommendation?

I think you'll be fine with just about any major rental company such as Alamo or Budget.

When we first moved here, we rented a car for three months from Economy. However, reviews for Economy tend to be mixed at best and I would not really recommend them given that there are better companies around.

Also, be aware that rental companies tend to have a maximum rental period - usually one month. In other words, after one month, you will likely need to "return" the vehicle and draw up a new contract for the second month.

If you are going to be based in one location, it might be best to either rent the vehicle at that location, or make sure that you won't incur extra costs if you rent the initial vehicle in , let's say, San Jose, and then "return" and renew at the location where you are based.
