Thanks for posting. You can still take the long way around by going through Turrialba.
Good to know! Thxs!
Have no fear, a Bailey Bridge is near!
Apparently it will take a minimum of three days to get it sorted.
My God we need water ...but not this much...!
Very soon it will be back...for now...drive by the nice town of Turrialba...maybe some nice tortillas con queso at Posada de la Luna in Cervantes...just the best tortillas in the whole country...is my personal opinion...others may have some other places...!
Everyone needs to try Turrialba cheese. Que Rico!
Latest estimates for repairs are 4 to 5 days but at least the Turrialba road is beautiful!
Well...the traffic will be horrible, but what a wonderful opportunity for the province of Cartago to showcase what it has to offer. All I can say is rebuild the "Jungle Train". Do we need any more evidence that dismantling it was a colossal mistake??
Thanks for the tip roadadvisor! We will be driving this route from Punta Uva to SJO on Saturday and will definitely stop for tortillas!
I love you Mr. roadadvisor, always a half full glass!
