What should I pack for a 6 day december trip to costa rica. We plan on river rafting , zip lining and hiking. Trying not to over pack, but want to make sure we have everything we need. Thanks for any help on this

Maybe some soft hiking boots, T-shirts, windbreaker, long sleeve shirt...and some insect repellent!

Sorry and some rafting shoes...but you can even buy them here...they sell them in San Jose...kind of sandals!

Just buckle up and enjoy the ride in PARADISE!

A pocket-size English/Spanish dictionary, a small first aid kit, binoculars - camera and film, walking shoes, sunscreen, traveler's checks - cash or/and credit cards, swim suits, casual clothes for nightlife and fine dining, insect repellent, copies of your favorite Costa Rica travel guide, sandals - sunglasses & hat, necessary medications, rain jacket, passport/birth certificate & driver's license.

Teva-type sandals that you won't lose with work well for all activities.

Insect repellent - sunscreen

If you're in the Arenal area then a light jacket or rain poncho; for Guanacaste it's not necessary.

I like to pack zip lock bags for wet things, camera, and food along the way.

I also like to pack an insulated mug to keep your beverage or water cold and the sand and bugs out.
