Prescription Drugs

Will I have a problem bringing this into the country as long as they in the bottles with the script written on them? Sorry for the dumb question.

Not a dumb question at all. You should be fine. Not exactly sure about what the law states, but I can say I have prescription medication I travel with and have never had a problem at all coming or going.

I have not had a problem but they do need to be in the correct presciption bottle with your name on it. I have had them check the name on my bottles with ,my passport.

If your prescription drug is a controlled or scheduled drug

like an opiate or sedatative anxiety/sleep med

you need a doctors note of medical need

and your prescription records and quntities just sufficient

for your trip or you can have problems.

If not controlled bring it you will be fine.

In all the trips I have made in and out of the country, prescription meds have never been questioned..... not once. Not at SJO and not at LIR.
