Travel shops in shanghai.

We are travelling to shanghai in the next week or so and are in need of a travel store to by some more vacuum/roll bags for our clothes to fit them in our backpacks. If anyone knows the ones I'm talking about, any idea where we might be able to pick some up??

Cheers.

I bought my vacuum bags at Tokyu Hands in Tokyo. I can not travel without anymore! Not sure they have it but now there is a Tokyu Hands at Isetan department store on Shanghai: tokyu-hands.co.jp/foreign_map/…map.html

The Decathlon Caoyang store is fairly central:

3018 North Zhongshan Road

200063 Shanghai

Phone: 021-32525888

Fax: 021-52831622

You can get there by Metro line #3, #4, and #11 (Caoyang Road station).

Awesome thank you! Are they ones you just roll to squeeze the air out or do you need a hair dryer/vacuum cleaner to do it?

The one you need should be available in malls like Carrefour, tesco. There are several sites in downtown. Should be easy to find:

The items in the specific travel stores are more expensive than the general shops in Shanghao. I suggest you to Nanjing Road or Huaihai Road where you can bargain with shop keepers.
