No it is not a light show like the lake impression show in Hangzhou or the Liu san jie show in Yangshuo. Its just that all or almost all the buildings over at Pudong Binjiang dadao and along the bund at Puxi are lighted up from 7 to 10pm.

Some buildings have lights changing patterns. Its is not like the one in HongKong where they have some laser and music show for 15 mins daily at night.

However Shanghai bund is very beautiiful at night with the old buildings looking very grand and majestic as a backdrop and the superb skyscapers at Pudong giving it another perspective.

There is light and laser show or fireworks at the bund only on New Year day and the Lunar New year.

No, there is no show. Lots of lights, spectacular enough.

Not true. Was there last week. Everything runs 7 days per week. Even banks open on weekends.

You could see the water in the Huangpu river from the Bund. And also, you could see the lights around, especially from the Oriental Pearl TV Tower during the nights.
