Cyclone in Fiji

Would someone please give me an update on the damage caused by the cyclone in Fiji. Specifically how it relates to resort areas on the coral coast.

Thanks!

No need to cancel holiday. In fact Wednesday (2 days after cyclone passed) was the most picture perfect day. The water was blue and warm, able to snorkle and visibility was fine excepting a bit of extra debris from the storm. By next week all will be fine. The villagers will have dried their belongings and tourist attractions were only closed 1 and half days.

.................Tourists on the Yasawa and Mamanuca islands northwest of Viti Levu were reported safe, but Octopus Resort was forced to close because of damage. Some villagers had fled their homes after roofs were blown off...............

We have a vacation rental- and other than vegetation being a bit of a mess and a few leaks, everything is fine now. The weather is sunshiny and looking ahead to the next 5 days on www.wunderground.com shows no rain in the forecast for the Suncoast.

Have a great trip!
