food and bures

hi

we have booked 2 oceanview bures to fit our family of 5 can i request interconnecting bures? Is there an ocean front bure or is that what i have booked?

Is the food good? We are there for 8 nights. Is there a dish that is a must try?

Yes you can request interconnecting bures. Pretty much all the bures are oceanfront - just a few metres away. We recently stayed in bure number 56 which was in a good location on the south beach - best side.

The food is good - although not that much variety. They have a couple of nights where there is a buffet but if you wish you can order off the menu at anytime. Little tip - if you enjoy a beer or two try to bring your own because it's pretty expensive on the island. You can buy from bottleshop in Nadi or from shop at the marina - much cheaper.

We had a great time on Treasure hope you do too!

hi, from a food perspective, the flambe restuarant is a highlight when we have visited. It costs about $20FJD per person on top of your meal plan, but the food is good and the chef puts on a show cooking the meal near your table.

One tip for eating is to book your nightly table early in the day, because if you don't you risk having an outside table.

This link gives you a map of the island, so that you can see that there is no real ocean bure's as such as they are all roughly the same distance from the beach.

I also heard about a new pool being built on Treasure - we were there just a few weeks ago and did not see a new pool being built (unless it was well hidden!!) There was work being done in the dining & bar area - new floor tiling. You really don't need a pool anyway the beach is the way to go on Treasure - warm, gentle water - just beautiful.
