Having successfully done a road trip to Malaysia after Christmas with my toddler son, we are all set for another one!
My family and I were in Malacca just before the New Year and loved the food (hadn't been there in years so we ate like pigs). We went to Nancy's Kitchen twice (unfortunately, I had gastroenteritis on my second trip there, but these things happen and it will not deter me from going back there again).
Anyway, we also went to Makko's (not sure of spelling) but we preferred Nancy's kitchen (hence the going back there). We also ate at a local coffee shop for breakfast, roti jala (sp.) and canai and teh.
This weekend we are headed back to Malaysia. Port Dickson and are planning to leave on Monday, the 17th back to Singapore. What do you think about stopping at Malacca for lunch instead of lunching at PD?
Where would prefer someone where we can easily find (safe) parking. We drive a small 1.3l (so it's a small car) continental car and of course we have Singapore licence plates. I ask this because our recent trip was also a road trip but we just parked at the hotel and walked around AND we ended up having a conversation with a local old man who told us that that very same day, a Singaporean car had been broken into. He was at the car park when it was discovered.
There will be my husband, my 1.5 year old boy and myself.
