Sportsman, probably no more early hours matches.

Heard on the grape vine, that Braz has leased the Sportsman bar, to max from Palm Tree, also heard that Max does not intend staying open for the late night/early hours champions league matches, this might effect some visitors.

Good luck to Max and Jayne whilst running the Sportsmans.

Not really think they intend to cover all the weekend matches, just they don't intend staying open until 3.30 am for the euro matches.

Braz has said he will be around most evenings on the other side of the bar, just have to wait and see.

I read some where last week that Max was moving to a Sports bar but thought that "The Sportsmans Bar" would be to small for him, then I could not find where I had read about it, so thought I must have been dreaming

Shame Max did not take on Why Not, would have thought that place would have suited him a treat also I only found the Sportsman earlier this year after calling in to see the Dragon one night (early morning) and really liked it

Think the one on the Beach Road is J29's? Think The Sportsman may be in Baga on the CSM road near a Scottish pub (??)) and opposite Bernards although probably wrong on all of this!!

No guys its the Sportsman on the Candolim to Calangute main Road, just round the corners from Pry nots (why Nots). Its between Bardays and the Nizmar Hotel.

The one in Candolim is J29.

The Scottish Bar in CSM road is KC's Bar, both will be open as usual.

The bar that shows sport on the big screens in CSM Road in Baga used to be Bobbys, not sure if it still is

GHD's is correct........the Sportsman's is just around the corner from the old "Why Not's"......next to Menezie's shop.

Never really rated it myself.
