We arrive 03/10 for 7-10days before heading to Kerala..We have three nights booked but may move for the last week or 5 days any ideas?

There are not the beach partys that there used to be in Goa , "the times they are a changein".

Word of mouth is a good a way as any, these partys move about ,because they are illegal, and the police are SUPPOSED to break them up. In truth it depends how much of a bribe is paid.

You are also out of season, the full swing will not have started by the time you arrive, so do not hold out much hope . Of course you will always get a few folks hanging and partying together , but not a full blown party.

You're in the right place (Anjuna) for hearing about any beach parties but you might be a little early for those. The main tourist season doesn't start until the begining of November but try asking in the local bars. As for the rugby, you might find one of the sports channels covering the World Cup but rugby isn't a sport well covered in India.

Call in Curlies beach shack if you are looking for trance or Janet & Johns for rock but you might be a bit early in the season

The Wednesday market might be open and have live music also try MIX in Arpora, Infantaria Calangute and Cavalla in Baga, all have live music some nights out of season but it won't be trance also check out the clubs in Baga and Calangute
