Shopping in Fairhope for ladies weekend

We are going on Jan 13 to Fairhope with 5 women. What time does the town open and close??? Can we shop and browse late??? what are the general hours that the stores and antique places are open. ?? this is Martin Luther King weekend. Are they open on Sunday?? what about the Monday??/

what other things to do beside shopping???

10 to 5 generally--not much open Sundays except the Latte Da coffee shop, Those that are open on Mon will be open.

The exception Cat's Meow --open til 8 and Sundays

Go to the waterfront and walk the pier

True. Most of the shops are run by the owners and they are ready to go home at 5 PM. You can take a nice drive by the bay and walk through the Grand Hotel in Point Clear.

I second a visit to the Grand Hotel. Fly Creed Inn has outdoor dining and music. Enjoy your visit.
