Need suggestion - Trip [Tinchuley - Pelling - Kaluk]

Hi,

We are planning for a trip to Pelling and Kaluk starting from Nov 7th till Nov 15th. Below is the plan:

Day 1 – 7th Nov, 2012: Train from Sealdah @ 10:55PM (PADATIK EXPRESS)

Day 2 – 8th Nov, 2012: NJP @ 9:00AM. From there to Tinchuley (Darjeeling) - ~90 Km (3 hrs). Night stay

Day 3 – 9th Nov, 2012: Sightseeing near Tinchuley – Khechuperi Lake, Teesta River etc.

Day 4 – 10th Nov, 2012: To Pelling – Night Stay

Day 5 – 11th Nov, 2012: Pelling – Sightseeing – Night Stay

Day 6 – 12th Nov, 2012: From Pelling to Kaluk, Rinchenpong – Night Stay

Day 7 – 13th Nov, 2012: Kaluk, Rinchenpong Sightseeing – Night Stay

Day 8 – 14th Nov, 2012: Return to NJP, Train at 21:00 (PADATIK EXPRESS)

Day 9 – 15th Nov, 2012: Sealdah @7:00AM

I have two questions:

- We will be having a very little member in our team (only 9 months old). So please validate the plan whether this will be very stressfull or not ?

- How to go to Pelling from Tinchuley ? And where to stay in Tinchuley? I could not find any contact number of Gurung Guest House.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

Tintin

Road condition to Tinchuley is not that good ,you may replace Tinchuley by Lamahatta . Both are scenic destination ,from Lamahatta you can explore Tista valley,Tea gardens and Nearby forest trail conveniently.
