2-night / 3-day trek: Dhotrey to Sandakphu

I'm trying to plan a 2-night / 3-day trek from Dhotrey (or Maneybhanjyang) to Sandakphu. I am in shape to do this (just done a steeper trek @ Mt. Olympus), but am having a tough time finding a guide for such a short itinerary. Any suggestions? Is it even necessary?

Should not need a guide. The track is well trod and locals should be able to point to the starting point.

From Dhotrey trek up to Tonglu (2 hrs) then Tumling (30mins) then Gairibas.

Stop at Gairibaas or go up to Kalipokhri (further 3 hrs)

Next day start from Gairibas or Kalipokhri to Sandakphu (5hrs /2 hrs). Stop there.

Next day get down to Rimbik via Gurdung and from there drive back to darjiling. or book a 4wd back to maneybhanjang and then to darjiling

Since you are totally unknown about the route, climate, arrangements of this trek, you should take a trek package. You may contact pallab@naturebeyond.org They are expert of organising trekking in this region. They are reliable.
