Weather in Jaipur

Hi All,

We are from Chandigarh and were planning for short break from 23-25th June. Since the monsoons had hit early this year, and the hill states Uttarakhand and HP are receiving heavy rains. So last week we changed our plans to Jaipur instead, but again the weather here is again getting here hotter.

It would be great if some who lives in or visited recently to Jaipur can suggest about the weather in Jaipur? My husband is from Shimla, and can't stand the heat at all!

Thanks in Advance.

1. Re: Weather in Jaipur

The rains have started hitting Jaipur also but it is still very hot and Humid

Only if it rains in next 2-3 days, you can hope to come here else it is going to be hot and humid

If you want to try in Rajasthan in these conditions - better will be Udaipur

Thanks for your response! Udaipur would be too far for us. Our initial plan was for Uttarakhand/HP. But due to the weather we cancelled.

In Jaipur how is the weather during the evenings and mornings? Do you think we can go sightseeing a little early in the morning and be back by say 11 AM and then start again at 4PM ?

Mostly the heat wave starts at 11 and is on till 6pm. Thus you will not be able to see all monuments as most close by 5. Even as of today there is no trace of rain
