This is a good link to see the weather:

wunderground.com/history/…WeeklyHistory.html

As you can see from that link, last year in July, the max temperature was 35 degrees C, and the minimum was 25. That's not bad at all.

If you are going to Agra to see the Taj, I recommend that you see Agra Fort, since it is so much better than Red Fort in Delhi. You can do this on a day trip from Delhi. Usually those who go to Agra, go the the Agra Fort also. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Yesterday there was a news item in the paper saying the Red Fort of Delhi has also been accorded World Heritage status, but there is more to see in Agra Fort.

Mathura and Vrindavan are close to Agra. Mathura is en route to Agra, and Vrindavan is 11 km from Mathura. ISKON has a temple and guest house at Vrindavan. There are no big hotels in this area, the best is the Radha Ashok, and other decent hotels include Madhuvan and Mansarovar Palace.

Megahvitours are simply irritating. TA deletes 5 nicknames, they are back and ready with another 5 false nicks.

Persistent spammer, sort of like garden weed you can't get rid of.

Vrindavan is around 60 kms from Agra, there are good hotels near Vidyapeeth Crossing. You may try Hotel Shubham and Hotel Holidays, you can get good clean air-conditioned rooms for about 30$. I am not sure about the rates though. Mathura is 12 kms from Vrindavan.
