Question about luggage on domestic flights

Hello,

we will be having two domestic flights within India. Each an hour long.

We usually travel with hardcase suitcases which close with zippers. Are in India the same rules as in the USA with TSA, keeping the luggage open?

Thanks.

You can put padlocks or secure the number lock without any problems for hold luggage.... it gets a x-ray before you check in, and a security sticker over the lock.

No the rules are not the same, you can just lock your cases, and the cases (on the whole) will have a security tag wrapped around/over the zipper lock
