Hostels, Hotels

What is a clean reasonable priced place to stay after hiking Machu Picchu. A group of 12 will be hiking in May and would like to stay overnight.

Thanks for your help

Have you checked the TA listings of Aguas Calientes lodgings? There are two listings, though.

Those links are a good place to start. Some places are really small and only have a limited # of rooms. You wouldn't necessarily all have to stay at the same place. The town is pretty small. I just wanted to mention that in case you start to struggle trying to find a hostel with a bunch of rooms vacant for your dates.

My wife and I stayed at the Pirwa Hostal. We paid $35 per night for a private double with bathroom and that included a basic breakfast of tea, bread, and jam but we saw dormitory style bunkbeds which Im sure go for much cheaper. The place was definately nothing to speak of but was clean and one of the more reasonably priced Hostals we could find and they had someone come meet us at the train station and take us to the Hostal to be sure we didnt have trouble finding it which was kind of nice. There was a TV lounge area and a computer to use as well.
