I want to bring a Womn to the USA from Somolo, Nigeria and she says immigration won't let her leave unless she can show #3,000 is this true or false.

Its a scam.

There is no such thing as BTA.

Hope you have not sent her money for other things as well.

its a scam......for all you know it could be a guy posing as a lady. a lot of guys do that, when its time to talk on the phone, they give the phone to their sis or female accomplice to speak to you. we do have BTA and PTA business/personal travel allowance which is the foreign currency you are allowed to buy from the banks when you are traveling when you show a valid visa and ticket, but it has nothing to do with immigration or any airline as i have seen on other posts
