Hi Davinfayme

Do there any buses from Tanjung Pinang Ferry terminal to Nirwana Beach Club Cabana Resort at Jalan Panglima Pantar, Lagoi ?

If yes, what is the duration of the bus & how much for the bus fees ?

Is there other ferry terminal which is near by above resort ?

Any interesting place near by the resort ?

Tks in advance for the recommendation.....

Many hotels will pick you up from the ferry terminal at no charge - ours did.

The first u must take the bus from KL - JB (Larkin bus terminal).

Than from the ZON Ferry Terminal in Stulang Laut, Johor Bahru take ferry services to Bintan (TanjungPinang) Bintan Islands in Indonesia.

Cheers ..

There are two ways of going to Tanjung Pinang on the Island of Bintan. I have personally made at least thirty to fifty missionary trips there. Tourists can go out to Singapore and leave Singapore by the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal which is not far from the Changi Airport. The Singapore MRT East-West line will travel from the city (May be City Hall or Raffles or any stops for either Bedok or Tanah Merah Stop and then take a SBS Bus 35 which will take you to the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Tickets (one way or return) can be purchased at the counters either from Berlian or Penguine Ferries.

Another way for Malaysian who do not want to depart from Singapore is to go to Johore Bahru and take a Taxi to Stulang Laut where tickets can be bought (also one way or return) to Tanjung Pinang but the Ferries are smaller and not so comfortable and take a longer time to arrive there (about 3 hours). Ferries leaving from Singapore Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal will be faster and normally will take about 2 hours to arrive there as Tanah Merrah Ferry Terminal is near to Tanjung Pinang.

For those who would like to go the the resorts and luxury hotels at Lagoi in the North of Tanjung Pinang (same Island), some hotels provide pick up at the town of Tanjung Pinang if one books to stay in their hotels. Otherwise you may need to take a taxi for the one hour drive. Buses do not go to the Resorts but will go to Tanjung Uban somewhere near there and there is still a distance to the resort and it will be very difficult to get a taxi there. Several new hotels have come up at Lagoi such as the Swiss bel hotel.
