Planning a trip between 10th and 16th november (need help)

Hi guys

A friend of mine and I are planning a trip to Thailand. Need suggestions on:

1. Which places should we cover. Looking at going to not more than 2 islands. Koh Tao seems interesting.

2. Tight budget. so cheaper the better. would not prefer to stay in a hostel.

3. want to do/learn scuba diving

4. want atleast one place which is less touristy to unwind . and one which has a bit of partying :)

All the help and suggestions in the world would be greatly helpful.

Cheers

Varsha

I would advise you to stick to west coast - maybe Koh lanta...the Koh Tao side of Thailand is in monsoon during this period which often makes the dive conditions far from favorable. The dive centre I work for a many others actually close for November too although there will be centres open .....

Koh Lanta is quite a large island so you could stay in 2 different locations on the island to get the different feel that you wanted rather than spending valuable holiday time traveling to different islands.
