yoga, swimming, fun

will be traveling late june with my teenage daughter. we want swimming and yoga and we like to meet lots of people, i used to go to thong nai pan yai, looks like a lot of the bungalows have turned to resorts.

would appreciate advise on best beach for us

Thong Nai Pan Yai is somewhat the same as before, it is Thong Nai Pan Noi that has changed the most.

Another option is Haad Salad, though the nearest yoga centre is quite a hike up the mountain.

There is the Yoga Studio http://www.yogakohphangan.com/ it is not far from the Rasananda

are the candle hut bungalows still there or is that now a resort? if not can you recommend bungalows similar that are walking distance to the yoga studio?

Here you can find all the hotels in the area http://www.thongnaipan.com/, if you want to have a more scenic experience the yoga teacher of the yoga studio is also providing lesson on the yoga platform of the Rasananda, I think that non guests might take part to the lesson (paying for the class, more expensive than at the Studio) but I am not sure 100%

Yes, Candle hut is still there. They have upgraded a bit and have newer concrete bungalows as well as a few of their older wood ones.
