5 nights in Krabi area - 3 nights in Lanta, Railay or not?

Hi,

We have about 5 nights in Krabi area and we are staying in Koh Lanta for the first 3 nights for sure but need some help for last 2 nights. After 5 nights, we have to take flight from Krabi airport.

- Should we just spend the last 2 nights in Lanta in Railay (west)?

- If we stay 2 nights in Railay, what is the best way to go to Krabi airport from Railay?

- We would like to do a daytrip to Phi Phi - should we do it from Lanta or Raily (if we stay 2 nights in Railay) or is it not worth it?

Thanks

One more question on Getting to Koh Lanta from Krabi Airport - our hotel is charging 2800THB oneway for this part - it seems little higher to me but not sure if that is the normal. I understand from reading FAQ that there are other private and public mini buses but I don's see links where i can check their rates or reserve in advance. Is this something i have to do it once I am there?

Please let me know if 2800 THB one is reasonable or not and what are my other options. I am landing at 10:40am in peak December season.

Thanks
