weve been to India the last 5 years this year/ next week we leave for our first trip to Thialand were heading to Koh lanta in the hope its quiet like the beaches of south Goa.

weve nothing booked yet (we never do in India) so we will pick our room on arival, were hoping for a/c with tv (we dont drink so its nice to catch a movie at night) for less than 1000bht per night

Were hoping to spend over 2 weeks on the islands and long beach sounds like a good start.
